Ashlynn Armstrong, a 13 year old student from North Fremont never returned home after school. The family is asking for help to locate her. Ashlynn’s last confirmed location was the Ashton City Park this afternoon.

Our 8th Grade English class had an "Outsider's Rumble" to finish up their reading of the book The Outsiders. The students had a blast which you can see in the pictures below. Thank you to all of the parents who helped out, and to Mrs. Stegelmeier for organizing the day!
Our Anatomy students had an awesome opportunity to observe an open heart surgery this week! The program that makes this possible is through the Museum of Science and Technology in Chicago. While students are watching the surgery they are able to listen to the doctors and nurses speak about their career paths including time in college, programs of study, salary, and more. Thank you to the North Fremont Education Foundation for the money that allowed us to participate.

BUS UPDATE. Buses are working to get around to pick up as many students as possible FOR THE 10:00 START. There are still many roads with significant drifting and ice. If we are unable to pick up your student, please contact the school for additional information and options.

NF & AE DELAYED START (4/19/2023). Due to drifting snow on roads, North Fremont and Ashton Elementary will be on a two-hour delayed start this morning. Classes will start at 10:00. This will hopefully give enough time to plow roads and get our students to school safely. Please be safe this morning.
Help spread the word, our school musical will begin performances this week! The students will be performing Annie this Friday and Saturday at 7 PM. See the poster below for more information and call over to the school if you have any other questions.
Congratulations to our yearbook class and Mr. Channell! They finished up the majority of the yearbook and submitted it for printing last week. There are still few extras available to order so if you would like to be put on a waitlist let Mr. Channell know ASAP.

This week we will start ISAT testing at North Fremont High School and Junior High. The 6th-8th graders will test on Tuesday, April 11th, and the Sophomores will test on Thursday April 13th. SENDING NORTH BUSES HOME (3/24/23). Highways are closing yet again, so we will be sending the Ashton Elementary & North Fremont buses home early. Buses will line up around 12:30 at Ashton Elem and 12:40 at NF. Parents are welcome to pick up their students AFTER the buses have left. Please do not block the buses!
