There will be an in-person driver's education class this summer, starting June 10th. You can sign up for the class by going to the Fremont County Sheriff's office and signing up for a driver's permit. Reach out to the school if you have any questions.

Just a reminder, tonight (4/16) at 7 PM there will be a North Fremont Booster Club meeting in the lecture hall of the high school. The purpose of this meeting is to elect a new leadership group. If you are interested in participating in the booster club, or in being on the board of directors, please attend the meeting tonight.
NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.
On April 27th the NF Education Foundation will be hosting a Dinner Theatre that coincides with NFHS/MS production of Cinderella. Along with the dinner and show there will also be a silent auction. If you are interested in attending you can purchase tickets at NFHS or Ashton Elementary. Tickets are $25 a person.
Next week we will be testing students 6-8 and 11 on the ISAT. This is a state requirement for all Idaho public schools. We are going to spread the test over Tuesday-Thursday to limit the time spent testing during each session. We will also provide snacks for students during testing. Please remind your kids to have a good breakfast those days so they are ready to go.

We are getting super excited for the NF presentation of Cinderella coming up April 25th-29th! The students have worked incredibly hard and it shows! We will post more pictures and information as we get closer to our shows.
On Thursday, March 28 the North Fremont Track and Field team competed in the Cougar Classic track meet. The Boys’ Varsity came in second with an overall score of 106. The Girls’ Varsity came in fifth with a score of 60. To read more go to : https://www.nfhuskies.net/o/nfhs/page/school-news.

There will be a lot of change in Husky athletics for the 2024/2025 year. Coach Shannon Hill has retired from coaching boys' basketball and Coach Ben Lenz has retired from coaching football. During Coach Hill's time as head coach the team has posted a 117-30 record, they have won 4 district championships, 5 state trophies, and 2 state championships. With Coach Lenz at the head of the football team they have posted an 83-36 record with 6 district championships and 5 state trophies. The two have compiled numerous coach of the year awards, and led our students to success on and off the court. Both coaches have so much to be proud of, and we are so grateful for the time, energy, and expertise they have brought to North Fremont!
Yesterday we had around 30 students participate in the Buy-a-Book/Read-a-Book event with the elementary school. Students read and gave out over 100 books in grades K-2, and each student who participated purchased the book they gave out. We have great students!
March 20th the Juniors will be taking the SAT at school. They will use their school issued chromebooks, please help your student make sure they are charged and ready to go. We will provide snacks, and a nutritious breakfast is recommended. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Spring sports are getting their photos taken on Wednesday March 13. You are welcome to order team photos online or pick up order forms in the office.
Fremont Joint School District 215 will conduct its annual Kindergarten Screenings from March 25th through March 28th, 2024.
All kindergarten-age students enrolling for the 2024-25 school year are required to register for and attend this universal screening. Students entering kindergarten who are currently enrolled in our preschool programs and receiving special education services WILL NOT need to participate in the screening.
Please contact the secretary of your enrolling school to register your child for the screening on or before Thursday, March 21st.
