Tomorrow is Halloween and our school is ready to get into the spirit! Please remember that costumes should be appropriate to the age of our students. No weapons should be brought to school, even as a part of the costume. If a mask is essential to the costume, it may be worn ONLY during the parade then put away in a backpack. Thank you for helping keep our students happy and safe!

Parker-Egin students recently won the 2023 Cougar Cross Country Challenge! Congratulations!
CONGRATULATIONS PARKER-EGIN ELEMENTARY! In an article posted on Idaho Ed News, Parker-Egin Elementary was recognized as one of the top schools in Idaho for achievement in reading. They were ranked number 2 overall with 91.5% of the students reading at grade level! Keep up the great work!!

HARVEST UPDATE (10-5-2023). All schools will be back in session for the whole district on Monday. Due to the weather, many farmers one both ends of the district are still trying to complete the harvest and many students are still working. Students who have missed or who will miss school due to harvest on either end of the district will still be counted as being absent and count against the 8 day limit each semester; however, the absences will be tracked by the schools. Similar to COVID related absences in the past, students who may exceed the 8 day limit due to harvest work will be able to work closely with the schools and teachers to make up any missed work and will have this taken into consideration by the administration when determining the need to make up time. A form to document harvest related absences can be picked up in the office. It will need to be filled out and then signed by the employer and the student's parents/guardians. If you have questions, please contact your school.

Today, all students in the school learned about bus safety and how to find emergency exits on a school bus. Thank you to our district transportation department for bringing safety to our school!

PHONES! Our new phone system should be up and running soon, but in the mean time, the district is setting up a temporary solution. We are expecting the phones to be up and running by tomorrow. Thank you so much for your patience.
EARLY LEARNING COLLABORATIVE. We will have a table set up at the back-to-school nights for each of our elementary schools. SCHOOL REGISTRATION. The office at Parker-Egin Elementary will be open for student registration starting Monday, August 14th, 9 am to 2 pm. Students will be able to drop off their supplies Friday, August 18th between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Our Back-To-School Open House will be held Wednesday, August 23 at 6:00pm.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED. Parents, your role is crucial in helping us meet and maintain the goals of transporting students safely. You can make a difference! Become a school bus driver today! We will train you for your CDL and reimburse you any costs after the school year. Starting pay for routes is $16.69 per hour.
