On Wednesday, the middle school hosted a track meet with the help of the high school students running flags and timers. The boys came in 4th with a score of 64.5. The girls came in 3rd with a score of 120.2. There were some amazing performances by several students. Conner Cecil scored 1st in the 400m and the 800m. In the 1600m Andrea Anderson got 1st and Eliza Bingham got 2nd. Maytay Gunnell got 1st in shot put.

On Thursday, March 28 the North Fremont Track and Field team competed in the Cougar Classic track meet. The Boys’ Varsity came in second with an overall score of 106. The Girls’ Varsity came in fifth with a score of 60. Honorable mentions go to the following people:

Girls’ North Fremont Varsity Softball won 16-1 on Ririe’s home turf.  Peyton Lenz helped the team win as she pitched and struck out six batters. Lenz was not the only member of the team who contributed to the win. Allie Marsden “went 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs” according to Maxreps. Grace Heiner also contributed to the win by getting on base every time she hit adding three points to the victory. The Girls’ softball team are undefeated 4-0. Make sure to congratulate them in the halls.
